If You Could Give Sight to the Blind, Would You?

What if it was almost as easy as just moving your hands?

What if you got to determine the cost?

Of course. You’d be a monster not to, right? Unfortunately, that’s probably not an option. But if you have a website, you can still do the next best thing. Before I tell you what that thing is and how to do it, please allow me to provide a little background.

Screen readers. These are incredible devices that assist people who are blind with navigating the internet. They can be remarkably efficient tools. But there is a serious problem that keeps them from being genuine miracle devices…

HTML Source Code

Code. The source code that powers every website is the key to screen reader technology. These devices read your website’s publicly available source code and create a web map. This map allows blind users to instantly jump to interesting portions of your site.

Sounds good in theory, right? Unfortunately, there’s a problem. Issues with a website’s source code can completely ruin how well a screen reader works. So why should this matter to you?

Industry web accessibility data shows that more than 90 percent of websites suffer from these code issues. This leaves the internet inaccessible to millions of potential customers in the United States alone. Obviously, this is bad for them. But it’s very bad for you too. Here’s why.

6.9 billion dollars. According to another accessibility industry report, that’s the amount of money that was lost in ecommerce sales in 2019 within the United States due to website inaccessibility. But this isn’t something that just affects the U.S. In 2016, industry research indicated that over 4 million people from the United Kingdom left a website without making a desired purchase due to inaccessibility. You know what’s really scary?

Ninety percent of people who leave an inaccessible website will never tell the website owner. You have probably already lost sales or potential fans because of this and you don’t even know it.

You could easily add an impressive percentage of these folks to your pool of potential clients and fans. Want to know how?

It’s much easier than you think.

Simple. You need to ensure these good people have a form of sight when they are online. You can do this with 404 Spotter.

My program will scan the pages of your website the same way a screen reader does. It meticulously identifies problem code for every page in your site. Then it writes all of the data to a pristinely structured spreadsheet, allowing you to easily correct problem areas. The benefits of this are fantastic.

In addition to the massively improved potential market share for your business or blog, my reports will save you dozens — or depending on the size of your website — hundreds of hours of tedious labor. This means you can retain more of your time and energy to focus on things you’ll enjoy. But wait, there’s more…

As a show of gratitude for your efforts in improving the internet for people who are blind, I am going to give you some free perks!

Free Bonuses for Customers

Broken links = lost sales

Broken Links

Broken links are terrible. These things will destroy your credibility. Some people find themselves less compelled to read this article when they see the photograph above. Some people even leave as soon as they see it! Why is that?

Nothing makes a person reluctant to hand over their hard-earned money quite as fast as finding a broken link on your site. It makes you look bad. This is a surefire way to lead customers to your competitors. But what if you have a blog and not a traditional store?

Does it matter then? Yes. Broken links are not only terrible for stores, but they’re horrible for blogs too. Here’s why.

Wasted potential. You’ll face significantly reduced readership and receive less affiliate money. That’s the fate of your blog if you are linking to website pages that have gone down. And if you blog consistently, you might have hundreds of links throughout your articles. Take a few seconds to think of how much time it would take to periodically find all of them.

Now that you’ve had a moment, know this: you’ll be in trouble if you don’t find those weak links. You could end up losing tens of thousands of dollars in advertisement and affiliate revenue due to this insidious, borderline invisible problem.

Other vendors literally charge hundreds of dollars for this service, and I’m going to give it to you for free. But that’s not all you’ll get for free…

SEO Problems

Easily identify pages with duplicate titles and descriptions to improve SEO and accessibility

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is vital. Without accounting for it, your website will never get good, natural traffic. You can still do well, but you’ll never truly thrive.

There are two common problems in this domain that I am going to spot and add to your report. I will find all the duplicate page titles and duplicate page descriptions littered throughout your website. This matters for a few reasons.

Every major search engine penalizes websites with duplicate page titles and descriptions. The penalties are light, but you must think of this like a jab in boxing. One is not too bad, but thirty-seven can be quite painful. The logic behind why this happens is simple.

Whenever a search engine is trying to provide relevant results for you, it gets confused when it encounters duplicates within a website. Unsure of what to load up, it can produce odd results. Because of this, many search engines will place your website lower on the results page if this is a consistent problem.

This part of the service will help you avoid those penalties. It will spare you from investing numerous hours into tedious work or paying large expenses for an expert to audit your code. While this is technically an SEO problem, it is also terrible for the screen reader users whom we are trying to help. There are two reasons why.

Screen readers generally allow people to navigate a website based on page titles. Duplicate titles will leave screen reader users confused, frustrated, and likely to take their money somewhere else. Duplicate descriptions will leave this segment of potential clients frustrated as well, but for a potentially worse reason.

When screen reader users are deciding if they want to go to a webpage, page descriptions are used as a summary. If your potential clients do a basic Google search, page descriptions are how they make sense of the results. By repeating descriptions across your website, you are taking a vital piece of functionality and destroying it for these millions of people. This is obviously bad for them, and they’ll never give your website a chance if you can’t get their attention with proper descriptions.

What’s the Price?

That’s completely up to you. Once you have had time to analyze your report, you only have to pay whatever you decide the report is worth to you. I do not care how much you decide it is worth. It can be anywhere from 0 to 1,000,000 dollars. All I ask is that you be honest with yourself. This report will give you the knowledge needed to quickly fix your website, or it will give you the peace of mind of knowing that your website is still in good condition.

All you have to do is decide how much the peace of mind and knowledge is worth to you. Millions of new websites are made every year. Every website needs at least one report per year. There is no reason for me to get greedy with so many potential clients.

How Do I Pay?

I really do not care. You can send the money via any of the online payment processors. You can send it in cryptocurrency. You can mail me a check. You can send me physical items. I never understood why businesses make it hard on people to pay. After you get your report, just let me know what you prefer, and I will ensure it can be done that way.
